Abacus Educare was delighted to open its door in April 2005. Since then, it has been our pleasure to have welcomed, cared for and educated many children.
We offer full day care to children from the tender age of six weeks to five years and afterschool and holiday care to children up to the age of thirteen.
Julie Bell, a fully qualified primary teacher with 16 years experience, is the owner of Abacus. Julie started the nursery with a vision of providing affordable high quality childcare and education. Julie is a busy Mum of three who likes to run in her spare time. She also likes to dance but only when no-one is looking.'
Our facilities in Blantyre include, an extensive outdoor play area, which is one of the largest in the local area, extra curricular activities such as French, Rhyme Time , Dance Write and an age tailored fun fitness programme.
We provide full outdoor waterproof suits and believe that there is 'no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing!'

Abacus has a fully enclosed, secure outdoor area extending to 10,000 square feet. This is one of the largest nursery play areas in Lanarkshire.
